The Russian Bay was a place in Stockholm where there were several large Russian barges. The bay was also full of other old boats and cranes and on land it was full of old trucks and caravans.
It was always quite nasty to go here yourself and take pictures as various odd people lived in caravans and boats there. But there was so much exciting to take pictures that I could not help but go there.
Today, the bay is cleaned up and the barges have been renovated into luxury homes. How they have now been able to renovate something so rusty. They had previously been used as housing for the Russian port and ship workers and there were 3-4 floors of rust so you had to watch where you put your feet as it was full of holes in the floors.
